Rugby in Uddingston and Bellshill areas - the ancient Black Douglas home

Our Location

We are currently looking for ground within the ancient lands occupied by the Black Douglas to provide an inclusive non-private Club - maybe much as the historically famous 'Good Sir James Douglas' might have sought in his quest toprovide support and help to his kinsman and neighbours.

We use the Castle Bar as our meeting place and after match 'watering hole'! The Castle Bar is at Uddingston Cross. First Bus run a bus from Glasgow every 30 minutes or so. In Uddingston itself, famous for Tunnocks Caramel Wafers, there are a wide variety of shops, cafes, restaurants, cerry-oots, churches and its own polis station.
